About Me

In 2018, a few songs about fear really spoke to me, especially The Break Up Song by Francesca Battistelli. It reminded me of how fear had been holding me back for so long. I’ve always felt the desire to write—ever since I was a tween, starting a romance novel on my mom’s typewriter. Life, with all its twists and turns, took me down different paths, but the dream of writing never left me.

Through marriage, widowhood, single parenting, and countless changes, I’ve come to realize that God’s plan wasn’t for me to write romance novels. His calling for me is to write for Him. I struggled with fear—fear of not knowing what to write, fear of failure—but one of my favorite verses, Luke 1:37, reminds me that “with God, nothing is impossible.”

So, here I am, letting go of fear and trusting God to guide me as I write. I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
